ExE channels the support of responsible entrepreneurs with a vision of promoting and contributing to educational coverage through the Edubecas program and to quality improvement through the Adopt a School and National Book Campaign programs.
Salvadoran entrepreneurs are a vital piece in the implementation of our programs. The impact they generate through their support and donations makes them key agents of change in improving educational quality and coverage in the country.
Edubecas manages financial resources to support students with limited economic resources, who have a good academic performance, excellent behavior, and great dreams of improvement.
We administer different scholarship funds for studies from kindergarten to technical and university careers, with nationwide coverage.

The Adopt a School program aims to raise the educational quality of public schools, through technical assistance, training, and tools to improve the school environment. The improvements can occur in the following:
This program is possible thanks to the financial contributions of the private sector, in coordination with the Ministry of Education and executed by FEPADE. We start with an institutional diagnosis that identifies the baseline of the educational indicators of each school as well as the support needs on which a work plan is defined.

Through the National Book Campaign program, it is proposed to improve education by promoting the creation and strengthening of libraries in public schools. To achieve sound educational development, all children must have adequate reading stimulation and unlimited access to books from an early age.
Reading and libraries enable better student learning, enrich knowledge, and also strengthen empathy and tolerance. For this reason, we consider that the higher the level of understanding, the less will violence manifest in daily coexistence.
To date, 20 annual campaigns have been accomplished, collecting and donating more than 1.7 million books thanks to the sponsorship and support of the private sector, publishing companies, educational and cultural institutions, as well as the general public.

Through its competencies service line, FEPADE identifies, develops, designs, and implements non-formal education projects and programs, in accordance with the special needs and requirements requested by national and international cooperation organizations.
The main objective of these projects and programs is to develop competencies and skills in young men and women that support them to enter the productive labor market and have a positive impact on the sustainable development of the country.
This program offers the opportunity to acquire practical training in technical-vocational areas, which leads to obtaining a job in the short term or improving the one that already exists and promoting the development of a qualified workforce.
It offers support to entrepreneurs and businessmen through a teaching-learning process through which skills and abilities are promoted and developed and to create new companies or economic and social organizations through a business idea.
In addition, it provides comprehensive support and access to contact networks and services aimed at facilitating the implementation of a new business or strengthening an existing one.

Through its line of research, FEPADE conducts studies on educational problems and formulates recommendations to improve access, quality, and inclusion of the Salvadoran educational system.
It promotes the production and exchange of ideas and experiences of specialists, principals, and teachers.
In addition, it supports the development of projects aimed at strengthening school management and pedagogical practices, as well as family and community participation.

The AB-Sé Pedagogical Journal supports the professional development of teachers and principals through the dissemination of good practices. It has been published periodically since 1998 and addresses content on school management, teaching-learning methodologies, inclusive education, educational technologies, school coexistence, family and community participation, learning evaluation, attention to diversity, among others.
The authors of the experiences and articles are teachers or specialists in education or related areas.
It has been distributed regularly in a printed format. As of 2020, due to the conditions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, it is delivered in a digital format.

The research line supports the design, implementation, and monitoring of educational development projects.
The projects have clearly defined scope, objectives, time and resources, and include phases of design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and learning. Among its components, the projects include technical assistance, training, face-to-face and virtual support, research.
In general, FEPADE’s projects seek to improve educational quality and inclusion and promote social cohesion. Depending on their financing, which may be under an alliance of national or international origin, the projects are of variable size and duration. They are implemented in alliance with international donors (especially USAID) and private sector actors (foundations, companies), in coordination with the Government (in particular, the Ministry of Education).
