FEPADE signs new alliance with CASSA and USAID in benefit of education in Sonsonate and San Miguel
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Business Foundation for Educational Development (FEPADE), under the Educar y Convivir project, the Compañía Azucarera Salvadoreña (CASSA) and the Ingenio Chaparrastique, reiterated their commitment to education of El Salvador by signing a new alliance which will benefit an estimated 689 students in Sonsonate and 1,162 in San Miguel, with a focus on improving conditions such as access to drinking water, sanitation, infrastructure and basic services in ten schools. Technical assistance will be provided to the 85 teachers and principals, and community members will be trained to integrate all the actors in a healthier and stronger way.
This alliance represents a total investment of $ 346,740. Of those, $ 115,580 is provided by CASSA for the Sonsonate Educational Corridor and another $ 115,580 by the Chaparrastique Mill for the Educational Corridors in San Miguel and Bahía de Jiquilisco. USAID contributes a leverage of $ 57,590 for each zone.

FÉLIX AND SUSANA PROGRAM
We finished the visit of the characters “Félix and Susana” to th schools of the Program. The intention was to promote a space for theatrical dialogue with boys and girls about similarities, differences, care and selfcare, sexuality and diversity, to reinforce the themes developed during the methodological route of the Program in El Salvador.
“Future Leaders” Program closure for FREUND collaborators
Freund and FEPADE carried out the virtual closing of the “Future Leaders” Program group I and II, aimed at Freund collaborators. The program was developed through 6 modules with the objective of developing and equipping participants with the technical and behavioral skills necessary to become true leaders. Accompanying the graduates were Lic. Eduardo Freund, General Manager; Ing. Ernesto Quiñónez, Sales Director, both from Freund, as well as other invited collaborators.
